As the owners and chefs of hanamaru market and bento, my wife and I would like to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support over the past four years. This journey has been incredible, filled with joy, hard work, and the pleasure of serving you delicious meals. Your loyalty has meant the world to us.
Today, we have some heartfelt news to share. My wife is expecting, and we are overjoyed to welcome a new addition to our family in June. As we prepare for this beautiful new chapter, we have decided to focus on our family and take a step back from the business for the next one to two years.
We understand this may come as a surprise, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. To ensure we can still serve you while balancing our family commitments, we will adjust our business hours starting March 4th, 2025. Our new hours will be:
- Market:
Tue - Sat (11:00 am to 6:00 pm)
- Restaurant:
Tue - Thurs (11:00 am to 3:00 pm)
Fri - Sat (11:00 am to 5:30 pm)

The Booku
Hanamaru is a fantastic restaurant that is becoming one of my favorite places to get food in the city! The bento boxes are delicious and come with a variety of options that should satisfy any craving! The food is always well packaged and ready quickly when getting take out or delivery. Definitely recommend trying the food here!

Picked up a roll and Nori wrap for lunch. Both were reasonably priced, super tasty and very fresh. They have a great selection of dried noodles and other tasty treats. Can't wait to come back and try their bento boxes and sake don!

What a local gem! It is the cutest little market of all things Japanese, and also does amazing takeout! Their Bentos, rolls and more are just perfect. Love this place, and its owners!
